The Sierra Nevada Dahlia Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation, cultivation, and preservation of dahlias through education, events, and community involvement. The Society aims to foster fellowship among dahlia enthusiasts and to contribute to the beautification of the Sierra Nevada region.
About Dahlias
If you aren't familiar with the dahlia then you just added fortune to your happiness profile. This magnificent flower can be delicate and tough at the same time. We are delighted to be able to grow this flower in our beautiful Sierra Mountain range. The dahlia tends to not ship well so we are honored to have a variety of growers in our area to supply this region. As a new society we can't wait to share information on dahlias as well as host events to "show them off". Stay tuned and we encourage you to join us in honoring this amazing flower.
